Claire Banham

Vinyasa & Pre/Post Natal Yoga Instructor

My Skills:

My favourite style to teach is Creative Flow, but I enjoy teaching a variety of styles to suit different needs. I’m trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Pre- and Postnatal yoga, allowing me to guide students through diverse and meaningful practices.

My Interests:

I love spending time outdoors, discovering new places with friends or my children and singing (often very loudly) along to my favourite music.

My Journey:

I was first introduced to yoga during my years as a singer and dancer, but it wasn’t until I faced a difficult period with poor mental health and a broken relationship that yoga and meditation truly transformed my life. Through this ancient practice, I found a profound sense of freedom and healing.

This deep connection to yoga inspired me to pursue teacher training to better understand its authenticity and evolution. It was the best decision I ever made. The people, teachers, experiences, and challenges I encountered during my training continue to influence how I teach today.

My passion for prenatal yoga was sparked even before I had children. A few years after my initial training, I studied Pre- and Postnatal Yoga while pregnant with my second child. That journey was invaluable. Experiencing pregnancy-related challenges firsthand helped deepen my understanding of how yoga can support the body through pregnancy, providing comfort and ease when it’s needed most.
