What level am I?

The wonderful thing about our small group classes is the ability to tailor sessions to perfection for each individual client for maximum benefit and safety. Group classes can be a mixture of abilities, experience, injuries, stages of pregnancy, by using modifications and some small equipment. However, feel free to use our guide when making a decision about which class to attend.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact exercise that is great for anyone looking to improve their core strength, flexibility, and balance. It focuses on controlled movements that engage your muscles, emphasizing proper alignment and breathing techniques. At VWell we teach a contemporary, anatomically-based approach to Joseph Pilates' original exercise method. We incorporate modern exercise science and rehabilitation principles for a safe and highly effective low-impact way to strengthen the body. Pilates is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, and can be modified to accommodate injuries or physical limitations. Regular Pilates practice can improve posture, alleviate back pain, and increase overall strength and flexibility.

What is the Springwall™ class?

Exercises on this wall-mounted unit can be done standing, kneeling, sitting, side-lying, supine or prone. Use of the springs, handles and roll-down bar can add variety while targeting individual muscle groups and creating simple to more complex movement patterns. This is a great class for everyone from elite athletes to rehabilitation clients

What is the Barre™ class?

This predominantly standing workout is driven by music which, when used appropriately, has been proven to increase coordination, motivation and improve movement quality. Utilising the power of music for safe and super fun barre classes that focus on increasing strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability.

What is the TotalTone class?

An effective trio of Bitesize workouts combined into 60 minutes of targeted training. This moderate intensity session is Tabata in style e.g. short periods of work followed by shorter periods of rest (mostly 30 seconds work vs. 15 seconds rest).

Sessions start with a warm-up, 7 minute Ab Blast, 3 rounds of upper body exercises, concluding with 3 rounds of lower body exercises; before a closing stretch. This workout provides a challenging and effective way to tone and define muscles, as you grow in strength and improve form.

What is the ZenFit class?

Tai Chi, Yoga & Pilates workout that builds strength & flexibility, leaving you relaxed & calm. A holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony & balance. All ages & abilities welcome.

What is the ChairFit class?

ChairFit is a fitness class designed for those who struggle with traditional floor-based exercises due to reduced mobility, age, or injury. This class offers a unique and inclusive approach, providing a full-body workout using a specialised stability chairs and various small equipment. Individuals with diverse mobility levels can actively participate in a fitness routine that enhances strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

What is a Sound Bath ?

A sound bath is a meditative experience that involves using various instruments; gongs, singing bowls, chimes etc to create a soothing & immersive sound environment. During a sound bath, you typically lie down while the sounds of the instruments wash over you, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, & a sense of well-being. Sound therapy can be a powerful tool for improving overall wellbeing & quality of life.

What is your cancellation policy ?

You can cancel and get a credit back if you make it before the cancellation cut-off period (4hrs before the start time of the class). Purchases using pre-paid/class packages or usage-limited subscriptions will be automatically added back to their package or usage limit. Other purchases will be returned as credits to the customer's account.

All Classpass bookings must be managed through ClassPass.

You can book a class right up to the start time of the class!

You may store bags, coats and shoes in the lockers at the entrance. The toilet can be found to the right.

We supply mats and all small equipment, including head cushions, eye pillows and blankets, but you are welcome to bring your own.

The studio is locked during classes to ensure no others can enter the space during class.

We ask that you wipe down your mat and equipment with the sanitising wipes provided at the end of the class. The studio is also cleaned before/after each class, and deep cleaned once a week.

Please do not attend your class if you are feeling unwell or have been told to isolate.
